An Open letter to my niece, Jennifer Loyd, and the younger folks on my Facebook Page; I know what you meant Niece but really nothing very happy about this day. What changed public sentiment about us was the tragic events of 9/11, Iraq & Afghanistan to make John Q & Joan Q Public finally recognize what my generation suffered during AND after the Vietnam War, Panama, Grenada, Bosnia-Herzegovina and other smaller conflicts. We were pariahs then. We just did our DUTY when called upon to do it. We didnt do it for the GLORY or the personal appreciation of others but we did it so this country and our FREEDOMs could remain strong AND for people like you, Jason and My Grand Niece, and countless other families, could enjoy life and opportunity in this GREATEST country of them all, BAR NONE! And now, I see this country being TORN APART AGAIN by the Left Leaning Progressive Socialist leaders like Obama, Biden, Kerry, Reid, Pelosi, Feinstein & Boxer just to name a few. When they get done attacking Amendment 2, messing with your Right to Vote, giving Illegal Aliens Amnesty, keeping Uncontrolled Borders, screwing with your CHRISTIAN based faith, they will go after your Amendment 1 Rights and throw all dissenters like me, in prison and throw away the key. I just hope to God I am called home BEFORE that day arrives. This Countrys future is now in the hands of people like you, the younger generation. Be careful how you vote, be smart about how you protest, weigh the potential of your actions seriously, DEFEND this Countrys HONOR and Constitution. Bring this Country back to the way our Founders envisioned it, FOR THE PEOPLE and BY THE PEOPLE!. IN GOD WE TRUST! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
