An Original Spoken Word. READ AND SHARE IT TO WOMEN YOU KNOW I am a Woman and this is my body I am not for a fashion statement so please do not expect me to pretend that I am. I am not an object, so do not expect to handle me or parade me around. Do not mistake these curves. Each cut, curl and bump is for a purpose, These legs, were made for walking, and I will walk this earth. They were meant to take a stand, with that I will hold my ground. They were made to set me free, and so I will not tire myself down to chains of this earth. As for these hips, they are for showing you how graceful it is to be a woman. They tempt and tease you. They will swing right to left as I walk like a true creation and not a carbon copy of what you wish I was. As for this chest, well, it will nurture, comfort and dry your tears when you need me there. And it does not matter if it is for your liking because behind this chest rests a powerful source of life, a heart satisfied of love like a sponge in water. As for my hands, I was not born inside a castle and so expect hard work. These hands are to lift, to protect and to instruct. They will comfort you, they will care and hold you until my days are up. And this back, it will hold my posture straight and scream confidence. This stomach, do not mistake it for a fashion statement. It will carry and raise a gift from my creator. As for these lips, they are for kisses, reminders that life is beautiful and even sweeter than a cherry. These eyes are for searching and hopefully finding the meaning of life. They are for guiding my steps from right and wrong. They are for giving me the strength to see people for who they are. They are for seeing courage and admiration. They are for seeing justice and for standing up to when justice is not served. They are not for judging or discriminating. These eyes of mine are for seeing the beauty that surrounds me. So do not mistake my body, each wrinkle and curve is for a purpose. My body is my history, it is my present, it is my future, and it is my piece of art. It will not bother me if you do not understand because it is well known that not just because you have eyes means that you can see. I am a woman, a sister, a daughter and if blessed I am a mother. I am woman. I am not for your tape measure to see if I will fit to your shelve. I am a woman, carrier and nurture of life. I am a woman, do not mistake me for something less.
