An Unbelieving Man Receives a New Knee Cap! One day as I was - TopicsExpress

An Unbelieving Man Receives a New Knee Cap! One day as I was preaching in a tent in the Huntington fair, a man who looked to be in his mid-thirties was hobbling by the tent really slow on a pair of crutches. He was not even looking in the direction of our tent, but was looking straight ahead, minding his own business. As I looked at him, the Spirit of God quickened the gift of faith inside of me. When God quickens my heart in this way I do not even think what I’m about to do. I simply act upon the quickening and the witness in my heart. I found myself calling out to this particular man, speaking over the microphone system. Everybody could hear me within a hundred feet, if not further. Probably the whole Huntington Fair could hear us! (Actually the fire department was really upset with us because we were disturbing their bingo games.) I called out to this man but he ignored me. Once again I challenged him to come into the tent so God could heal him. This time he looked my way but kept hobbling along. I called out the third time, encouraging him to come and be healed of his problem. After the third time, he finally came into the tent. When he came to the front, I asked him if he had faith to believe that God would heal him. He looked at me as if I had lost my mind. He was probably thinking, you’re the one who called me up here. I don’t even know what this is about. Everybody was staring at me, so I had to come! He did not respond to my question. I told him that I was going to pray for him now and God would heal him! I asked him again if he believed this. Once again he did not respond. Then I laid my hands on him and commanded him to be healed In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. After I was done praying, I told him to put down his crutches and start walking without them. He stood there staring at me. Everybody else was also staring at me. This was okay because the gift of faith was at work in my heart. I reached forward and took away his crutches. I threw them on the ground and spun him around. When I’m in this realm I’m not thinking, I’m simply acting. Then I pushed him. He stumbled forward and began to walk toward the back of the tent. He was picking his legs high up in the air, high stepping it. When he got to the edge of the tent he spun back toward me. Tears were streaming from his eyes and down his cheeks. He came back toward me walking perfectly normal with no limp whatsoever! I gave him the microphone, and asked him to tell us what had happened. He kept saying, “You don’t understand” over and over. Once again, I encouraged him to tell us his story. I had him face the people in that tent and those outside of it who had been watching. He told us that last winter he had been walking on a very icy sidewalk and he lost his footing. Slipping and sliding, he fell forward onto the concrete and ice. He fell down so hard on his kneecap that he had done something terrible to it. He could not move his knee whatsoever, and it was extremely painful. He went to the doctor’s office and they x-rayed it. The x-rays revealed that his kneecap had literally been shattered and destroyed. In just two more days he was scheduled to have a major operation to replace his kneecap. I encouraged him to go back to his doctor and get it x-rayed again. Sure enough, a couple days later he came back to the tent giving a wonderful testimony. He had gone to his doctor. He said when he walked into the doctor’s office they could tell that his knee was normal. The doctor asked him what had happened. He told them about the encounter he had with Jesus at our tent meeting. They x-rayed his kneecap and discovered he had a brand-new kneecap! As a result of this tent meeting God raised up a church of over 400 people in Huntington PA. We still desperately need signs and wonders and miracles.
