An al Jazeera journalist who was convicted in her absence of spreading false news said Mondays verdicts on three colleagues was not doing Egypt any service. Sue Turton, one of nine journalists charged in absentia and sentenced to 10 years, spoke of efforts to get the verdicts overturned with pressure on the Egyptian government.
