An amazing opportunity to give back to our community...! Volunteers are needed to help educate more than 5,000 Lansing School District first-through-fifth graders about preventive medicine and what their body needs to stay healthy and strong. This opportunity gives children the option to complete a mini medical school and teaches them how to live healthier, to trust healthcare providers, and to know they can be anything they want to be when they grow up, including a doctor. We need more volunteers and you do NOT need to be studying in a medical field to participate. We have a nutrition station, photo/certificate of completion station, etc. that we NEED your help to make this event possible. This event is hosted by the MOA (Michigan Osteopathic Association) and has been highly successful in the past, which is why they are up-scaling it this year to the Breslin Center!
