An angel in disguise. I would like to share my reflections on Exodus 18. Moses father-in-law Jethro visits Moses while he is in the wilderness with the Jews delivered form Egypt. Jethro gives Moses advice how to divide up responsibility for judging problems of the people among several representatives, while Moses only takes on the most difficult cases. This advice proves to be very valuable, taking a lot of stress off of Moses. A way I see this as applying to us is we should be aware of those individuals coming into our lives as perhaps being sent from God to help us in some special way. One example for me was when I was in the Army Reserves. For 6 years, I was sent to a two-weeks summer camp each year. This was useful towards serving my country, but also I found special individuals coming into my life. In particular, I got to know various men in a deep way and was bolstered by them in my faith in Christ.
