Rapid, healthy growth that hasnt returned since the Great Recession, the article states, and weve lost a half decade. It goes on to say that, in our political debates growth is mostly an afterthought. This echoes a point I have been making for some time now - that we have lost precious time in the life of our nation because of legislative neglect. Congress needs to refocus and start developing thoughtful, proactive legislation that makes faster economic growth a priority.
