An audiobook request I will soon be driving to the Rainbow Gathering from upstate NY to either Utah or Nevada. So about 6 days worth of entertainment. I am looking for good audiobooks for the ride, either ideas or the audiobooks themselves (on CD or plug-in device, I will gladly pay shipping). I usually shuffle between novels and science education. I like sci-fi/fantasy/weird often with a mix of humor and darkness with authors such as Neil Gaiman, David Wong, Jim Butcher, Philip Pullman, J.R. Tolkien, Matthew Hughes, Terry Pratchett, Barbara Kingsolver, Douglas Adams, William Gibson, Glen Cook, and you probably get the idea. On the science end, I have pretty broad tastes, it is more about the author making the subject interesting (humor helps). Books and authors include; David Attenborough, Mary Roach (Stiff, and others), Robert Greenberg (How to Listen to and Understand Great Music), Michael Pollan, Daniel Lieberman (The Story of the Human Body), Richard Dawson, Christopher Hitchens, Bill Bryson, and David Attenborough again. I am also looking for an audio copy of “The making of the Atomic Bomb” by Rhodes. Thanks for any help with this.~7Song
