An awesome day at the #21stOceanCareDayFestival at Manly beach today. BEARDSON won 1st place- taking out best stall! Sadly, the day ended on a fairly frightening and dangerous note, bringing home to all of us who held onto marquees the very real impacts of Climate Change. Hail, lighting, incredible typhoon like winds that blew all market holders marquees to the ground…fortunately no- one was seriously injured, to our knowledge. It was a very real reminder of the effects of CC that is already upon us. These powerful and unpredictable events are going to be more frequent and deadly. We experienced a small typhoon today but nothing like what is expected to arrive in the Philippines - yet again. Causing costly damage, injury and death… so jump onboard and be another person starting a conversation about conservation to help reverse climate change. The force of Mother Nature is not one to be reckoned with. Big shout out to all the new ambassadors who have jumped on board!
