An exciting New World has been conceived and is about to be born --- Cuba is an example of creative entrepreneurialism to be unleashed. Many adhere to the proposition that bigger is better, capital and technology are life-long bed-mates and that the Silicon Valley model will forever reign supreme, whether in Silicon Valley itself or its global clones. Well, theres a fuundamental shift afoot with global Financial reset being just the bleeding edge of such a change. Attention may be focused on the rise of Eurasia and the SCO, but theres a bigger story unfolding. This one is the unraveling of the colonial, post-colonial and neo-colonial models. Economic growth and vitality flows to where there is youth and vibrancy and flees from where there is the unfolding of dead-man-walking demographics. 3D Printing and distributed manufacturing is about to unravel the vast centralized big-plant just-in-time production model. In the eternal cyclic Tandava dance of the changing cycles, brain power and innovation, essentially a higher form of labor is set to gain primacy over capital. Business needs markets. Markets need consumers, the prime being youth. Potential customers need purchasing ability and this comes from the monetization of economies. Multinational Corporation growth therefore depends upon monetization and economic growth of the previously periphery Emerging Market countries. This is what will be unfolding with Financial Reset being but the first in a series of steps. Welcome New World Order, what took so long? ************************ EXCERPTS Cubans are masters of invention. They have to be. When something breaks, they patch it up. When something doesn’t work, they fix it. And when something is altogether lost, they invent it. They grill meat on metal chairs. They seal the bottoms of cars, transforming them into boats. From the suffering of 30 years of isolation has sprung a generation of amateur engineers, inventors and welders. “Musicians, medical doctors, workers, homemakers, athletes and architects all had to dedicate themselves to making their own things and meeting the emerging needs of the family,” Ernesto Oroza, a Cuban-born designer who now lives in Miami, wrote over email in Spanish. “The Cuban home became a laboratory for inventions and survival. People scoured the city for plastic objects and industrial discards and swiped garbage from city dumpsters, which they’d grind up and inject into molds to make toys, dishes, electrical switches and footwear. The magazine Popular Mechanics was a hot commodity on the island. “Industrial products were tinkered with and examined by hand,” Oroza said. “Cubans dissected the industrial culture, opening everything up, repairing and altering every type of object.” pbs.org/newshour/updates/isolation-generation-master-inventors-cuba/ ************************
