An exhibit on WW II at the National Automobile Museum in Reno, which will be up through October. We enjoyed the panel talking about Chryslers role. Chrysler found a way to plate diffusers needed for making U-235 as the fission matter in the first atomic bomb at its Plymouth Lynch Road Plant in Detroit. Its expertise in engineering and manufacturing applied to this top-secret project was instrumental in ending World War II in August of 1945.
