I wrote this for Kims headstone. Thought I would share this with all of you. Kim Determination, Character, Compassion and Strength Life’s goals set; life’s goals met Overcoming obstacles standing in the way Strength and determination moved them away Full of compassion, character too Smiles, frowns, bright shining eyes Caring and sharing, are you All of these traits exemplify you Gone from this life way too soon Our hearts still broken in two With our hearts and minds we still see Someday we will again be with thee DAD This Christmas was a very difficult one for all of us. This road we travel now is a hard one full of more declines than we could have ever thought possible. We are finding that the advise others in our position have given us is right on target. Advise that we dont want to be true, making things more difficult and depressing. I think I will start writing the book many of you have suggested. Being able to focus on that is going to be hard, so much to tell others. Still trying to figuire out where I should start and what to say. I have so much I want to share, can I find the words that will do it justice. I do not consider myself a writer. I just hope that it will help others understand what it is we are going thru. Maybe help others in our situation. One thing that is clear is that we need to trust in God. He has the power and strength to get us thru anything. Jesus is always there, walking right beside us. Sometimes even carrying us. With Him we have strength, without Him we will perish. God bless you all.
