An extract from the book’s Introduction. It is my belief and conviction that there is hope for all marriages. This hope is underscored by faith in the Author of marriage. For it is him who said to Moses: “I am who I am.” He continues to say to us today “I am whatever you what me to be”. Paul says those who come to him must believe that, He is. He is whatever you need or require. Therefore I believe that: • For a marriage that is just okay but in need of something sweeter, a marriage that does not have major conflicts yet without much excitement in it; He is the Jesus of Nazareth who changes tasteless water into sweet wine. He is the one who can sweeten your marriage and love for each other. • For a marriage that is bitter like the water of Marah, a marriage that is full of strife and bitterness, with no joy or happiness; He is the branch that turns bitter waters into sweet waters. He is the one who can turn your troubled marriage into a good, sweet, exciting and prosperous marriage. • For a marriage that is lifeless, a marriage that is desert-like, where there is no water, a marriage that is hopeless, a marriage where people have stopped trying because it does not work; He is Jehovah who made water and caused it to come out of the rock. He is the one who can turn a lifeless, hopeless marriage, into a wonderful marriage. • For a marriage that is dead and buried, a marriage that is no more (divorced), separated or in the process of divorce; He is Jesus, the resurrection and the life, who raised Lazarus even from the dead. He is the one who can raise your dead marriage into a living marriage. Unleashing the Marriage Potential by MJM Ravhengani
