An herb for the divine feminine. Queen Annes Lace. Origin of name possibly from Anne Bolyn who was executed for witchcraft. The lacy umbel flower looks to have one drop of blood in the center red or black. I take it as the red is new blood and black as old. The seeds reduce heavy flow, excessive growth of the uterine membrane and probably endometriosis. It seems to aerate the blood and prevent clotting. When used before, during or after the period it prevents conception by sloughing the membrane however after its use has been stopped it will encourage conception BC the menstrual cycle and uterine membrane are newly toned. Susun Weed says her and her students use it successfully as a form of birth control. Also one of the best diuretics and weight loss herbs. Great for kidneys ( note to self ). Queen Annes Lace does not just stir up bodily lust but operates on a subtle level to help one appreciate the body. An infusion is made by pouring one cup of water over the tops or seeds. This plant deserves more recognition. I might add also that its root is edible. Wild carrot.
