This is a beautiful pare or reddish orange knitting needles the ends are a touch darker that the shaft of the needles. They have been sanded very smooth but have just enough catch left to make them ideal for getting that beautiful bloom on soft feathery yarns like angora (ask me about package deals with my angora yarns) the test swatch i did is 10 stitches wide then the first 10 rows were a basic stitch and the second 10 is called a pearl I think.
