An idea for Thanksgiving hosts who do not have a dishwasher: We are having about a dozen people for dinner today, So....since we do not have a dishwasher, I spend most of my Thanksgiving day washing dishes rather than chatting with family..(though I am a weird person that finds doing dishes relaxing). Anyway, I think I have thought of a clever idea to solve this dilemma.... Ive put a large Rubbermaid container in my mud room, filling it with hot soapy water, and will set dishes in container to soak while I enjoy my company. After they have gone, I can wash them properly at my leisure!! Bob thinks it is not a good idea, but he is the cook, and I am the cleaner....I think he will change his mind....I will let you know how it goes.....
