An interesting collection. I didnt feel the sense of fragments so much as deliberate choosing and framing of images. Raised interesting questions of duration of shots--between the rhythms of montage and the structural lengths of camera rolls or other timing defined by apparatus. When shots are 30 to 80 seconds in length, how are they defined--by internal characteristics, narrative voice-over, mechanisms of shooting, a sense of editing? What does this kind of time-feeling mean?
