An interesting commentary on the felony charge of four protesters of the Enbridge pipeline construction site on July 22. A question we all ask in this movement - it belies the justice system to charge protesters of mass environmental and human damage as criminals versus the ones who propagate it. "...what becomes apparent is that those who resist the rapacious profit-machine of the consumer society and monetization of the value of life are the ones who are shackled as law breakers, threats to the social order, people to be stigmatized as targets of police (and intelligence surveillance) action."
