An interesting day exploring the works of Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, starting with Park Guell in Barcelona. He really left his mark on this city. Work began on the park in 1900 and its unlike any other park in the world. Gaudi designed terraces that fused into trees and caves, theres a dragon fountain and an open space thats very much a people park with seats that are indescribably comfortable. Gaudi also designed it in a way to attract birds. The trees there are filled with parrots. The park also has the fattest and most contented looking pigeons I have seen outside of Trafalgar Square and Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Gaudi was a genius.
