An interesting discussion is developing on the western shore of the North Atlantic, focused on the recovery of very similar caches of extremely large bifaces from sites as far removed as the coast of Labrador to inland Massachusetts and coastal Delaware and with the suggestion that raw materials may have moved as much as 2,500 kilometers (1,500 miles) within this network. The stone tools are magnificent and the similarities among the caches remarkable. Some of these caches have been in museums for 90 years, others are recent discoveries. Due to the distances between them, however, their relationships havent been recognized until online discussions like these have started to tease them out. nlarchaeology.wordpress/2011/08/11/caches/#comment-1263
