An interesting take on the dynamics of our multi-party Provincial system from a long-time New Democrat friend from Sudbury: What Ontario New Democrats get if they vote for the budget: 100% of the blame for anything that goes wrong, 0% of the credit for everything that goes right, a tacit endorsement of all Liberal waste and scandal, an abandonment of leadership as a party strength, and ultimately a voting public that wonders - rightly - what they need us for anyway. We are in this because we believe that New Democrats will form the best government, will make the best policy decisions for people. Tom Mulcairs team gets that. If were not willing to stand up for that in Ontario, Im in the wrong provincial party.
