An investigation is underway after shots were reportedly fired at Guildford today. Police were called to Rosebery Road just before 4pm (Tuesday 12 August 2014), after reports shots had been fired. Officers from Rosehill Local Area Command attended and were told a group of men had been involved in an altercation in the street. The shots were reportedly fired during the altercation. A canvass of the area was conducted and specialist officers assisted local police. No evidence has been found of anyone being injured. Inquiries are continuing and anyone who witnessed suspicious behaviour is urged to come forward.
