An invitation from UP-KU Leuven: For those of you who are following the current events in Ukraine, there is a great opportunity to get an overview from a ‘first-hand’ source. We are happy to invite you to the international symposium with the participation of: - Myroslav Marynovych, the vice-rector of the Ukrainian Catholic University in Lviv, founder of Amnesty International Ukraine, and a founding member of the Ukrainian Helsinki Group; and - Mykola Riabchuk, a political and cultural analyst based in Kyiv, currently a visiting EURIAS research fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna, and Vice President of Ukrainian PEN, who are delivering their views on the current situation in Ukraine and their reflection on how these developments (might) influence the future for the European countries. - European voice, on its turn, will be presented by Ria Laenen, policy Adviser International Relations, KU Leuven Faculty of Social Sciences and senior fellow at the Center for Global Governance Studies at KU Leuven.
