As a follower of The Hub Ireland for some time now, I was very struck by your post yesterday concerning a Gentleman who due to financial pressure had considered ending his own life. While as a new business who does not receive any funding or grant assistance, we are not able to offer financial assistance, we would like to do our bit to help where we can. To that end, our ethos within the IOCPS is that professional support should be available to everyone regardless of their location or financial situation, and we would like to extend our limited number of low cost places to encompass anyone in need either referred by The Hub Ireland, or indeed anyone working within The Hub Ireland who may be feel the weight of dealing with such distressing calls. Our low cost service is based on a sliding scale depending on what clients feel they can afford starting at €15. If you feel that this service would be of benefit to your volunteers, or callers then please feel free to accept our offer.
