An update: Since February, Ive shared a fair amount of information about my friends Louise and John Dennen, who had to sell their home in Ossining due to the astronomical tax rates in Westchester County, New York - at the risk of being foreclosed out of it. A number of my friends here on FB contributed money to help John and Louise out of their predicament. However, I would like to say that Mark J. Seiden and the Mark Seiden Real Estate Team literally saved Johns and Louises life. Mark got their home sold quickly for an excellent price. Mark negotiated with the buyers to give the Dennens extra time to live in the home post closing so they could find another place to live. Mark personally project managed John and Louise to make sure they vacated on time so they did not lose thousands of dollars in escrow, helped them track down a temporary dwelling for their arrival, coordinated moving and is helping them locate permanent housing in their new town. In addition, Mark arranged and paid for transportation from Ossining to Vermont for both John and Louise and will be getting them to the station on time today to make their train to their new place. If there was ever a time a realtor earned a commission, this was it. But, as you can see, Mark is more than a realtor - he is a lifesaver. If you or someone you know is looking to buy or sell a home in Westchester County, New York, you can see for yourself the dedication Mark puts into his work. Selling and buying homes is a complex, tricky business, and I can think of no better ally to have on your team than Marks team. I owe him a tremendous debt of gratitude for everything he did for John and Louise.
