An update for the clan.... Day 3 in Dubai we explored the city, shopping at Dubai & Emirates Mall and the Souk Markets. The highlights of the day were the trip to the viewing platform of the worlds tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.... 140 floors up, WoW, what a view!! Also had a high-tea on the 27th floor of the Burj Al Arab, the building built in the sea!! Yesterday we flew into Heathrow, welcomed by rain (what a surprise) then drove straight to Salisbury to a nice little B&B, Lancers House. Today we explored Stonehenge, climbed to the top of the spire of Salisbury Cathedral, the highest spire in Great Britain (123m) and then visited the Roman Baths at Bath (of course). Wish we had longer in Bath... what an amazing place with an amazing history... beautiful town!! We are now in Cardiff, just got back from sampling a few cocktails. Tomorrow we ferry to Ireland and will update again soon. Love Brett & Anne xx
