Anambra: KOWA party features one guber aspirant Weekly Trust Anambra State chairman of the KOWA party (KP), Prince Isaac Onuka has said that only one aspirant has so far officially picked the nomination form to run for the November 16 governorship election in the state. He said, it does not suggest that the party has shut its door to other aspirants and that everybody has a chance to become a member and seek for an elective position. He was speaking to newsmen ahead of the party’s August 21, 2013 primaries, saying the party would cause an upset in both council and governorship elections. Onuka said his party is a mass movement and the only true Nigerian party that can take the country through the process of good governance. He said since 2009 when the party was registered, it has set a record as the most widely accepted party with grassroots structures and that was one of the reasons why INEC did not include it among the deregistered parties. He said KOWA means “Come and let us all be educated in most Nigerian languages including Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba, KOWA means everybody in Hausa, everybody come, in Yoruba and teach or educate in Igbo.”
