Anarchy means no ruler. That makes democracy - essentially voting the will of the minority into submission - incompatible with anarchy. Anarchy implies complete autonomy of the individual in all of his personal affairs, which autonomy cannot be overruled by others. Communism is incompatible with anarchy, because it strips man of his autonomy and denies him supremacy over his own life and work. The truly autonomous man may join in community with others, but is not obligated to do so. The truly autonomous man may disassociate from any community at will, something it is denied him within communism. Anarchy is for voluntary community, but not for structural communism, where the collective rules the life of the individual and limits his individuality. Anarchy has nothing to do with economic inequality. It denies hierarchy of power, and political and economic inequality by coercive means, but it does not deny economic inequality by peaceful means. Anarchy thus implies equality of access, not equality of outcome. Anarchy does not entitle one to the fruit of the toil of another. All interpersonal transactions happen on a purely voluntary basis, in the absence of coercion. Private property claims on nature itself are incompatible with anarchy, because they are a means of establishing hierarchy by denying economic access to the necessities of life, and thus attaining economic leverage over those who have been denied access to natural resources. By all indications of reality, for the most part humans tend to cling to manifestations of capitalism or communism, and it is unlikely that anarchy can be achieved other than in small communities. It is unlikely to ever become a large-scale reality, because humanity itself clings to the concept that either the individual (capitalism) or the collective (communism), have the right to interfere in, and deny a man autonomy over, his own life. Anarchy is incompatible with capitalism, communism, and any manifestation of democracy, whereby a man may be deprived of his liberty and autonomy by majority vote.
