Anastasia paced nervously back and forth across her living room, all of her daughters had been away at school for a week and she had been very happy having the house to herself. But that mood soon crumpled when she received a letter from beauxbatons. She knew by now, any letter that did not come at the end of a term was bad news. The schools were so busy that they didn’t bother sending out anything other than grades, or behavior demerits since the parents were free to contact the children themselves. She had gotten plenty of the letters over the years since Sasha had started school, but she never expected to see one from Aspen - that had been the point of sending her to beauxbatons in the first place. Anastasia ripped open the letter and with a sigh read its contents. She then angrily took out her phone and rang Sasha. Meanwhile, at Hogwarts Sasha hastily answered her phone. “Yes Anastasia?” She said harshly. “I’m on my way to class, what do you want?” It was a few moments before her mom responded. “What did you do?” Her mom spit into the phone. “I know this has to be your fault - she’s a good kid!” Anastasia spoke quickly with aggravation. Sasha moved the phone closer to her ear in order to hear better. “I’m not following.” She said in an attempt to calm her mother. “What did you tell Aspen to do?” She asked sternly. “Mom.” She said calmly. “I have no idea what your talking about, I haven’t spoke to her since you dropped us off for school. What’s going on?” Sasha asked concerned, beginning to get worried. “Your telling me you have nothing to do with Aspen skipping her classes?” Anastasia said in disbelief. “Really? You think i’m dumb enough to believe that?” She scoffed. “Actually, yes.” Sasha joked, and then spoke seriously again. “But, when I told you I haven’t talked to her I wasn’t lying.” Sasha said with a shrug, glad her mom wasn’t actually in the room with her she couldn’t even imagine what the women’s face looked like right now. She couldn’t believe it, Sasha hadn’t talked to aspen and had no plan to destroy her mother’s beauxbaton’s plan. After she got used to the idea she figured her sister would like it there. “Mom, what’s going on?” Sasha said very concerned, she knew the only way this conversation was going to go anywhere was if she cooperated with her mother. “They want me to take her out of school.” Anastasia said with a sigh, and shook her head. “You know I still don’t believe you, right?” She said suspicion still in her voice. “I know.” Sasha sighed. “Can you just fill me in anyways?” Her mother than snootily went into a rant about how Aspen hadn’t been attending any of her classes and refused to leave her dorm room, and she wouldn’t talk to anyone about why, which is why the school had contacted her. “Why don’t you just send her to hogwarts?” Sasha asked, it seemed like the pretty obvious answer. “I mean, Amber would straighten her out.” Sasha said with as much assurance as she could, but at the same time was sure not to mention her own name. She knew it was a shot in the dark, that her mother was as stubborn as she was but she figured it was worth a shot. “I’m going to have too now.” Anastasia said very sharply. “I’ve already called the school.” She’ll be there on friday - tell you sister.” Her mother sighed and hung up the phone with out a word. Sasha still held the phone by her ear though for a moment, taking in what had just happened. She couldn’t really believe it, and it now sounded as if she had a lot to do. She snapped her phone closed and hurried to her next class.
