The Scripture repeats and re-phrases the principle. Simply stated it is this: We lose what we keep and we keep what we give. Jesus called giving, “laying up treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupt.” (Matt. 6:19-20 NKJV) So my prayer becomes, “how can we give more than we thought possible.
