And I bet you thought things are different today. As the husband and manager of a talented female horn player I can assure you the struggle continues. In spite of and often times because of her talent she is shunned by fellow musicians, business owners, promoters, and sometimes patrons of music. But on the other side of that injustice is my excitement of and pride of my woman and other women like her who know who they are and persevere in spite of the challenges thrown their way. I applaud all the ladies of music in all genre who refuse to take a back seat to the male egos that try to keep them from being and doing that which God has called them to. Play on Ladies, do your thing.
