And Jesus proclaimed this awesome promise of supernatural power for His people today: John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I (Jesus) say unto you, He that pisteuo/believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. 13 And whatsoever ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise of God) in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise of God) any thing in my name, I will do it.” Jesus promised that if you get the right understanding, you can have a prayer life that becomes the source of goodness for yourself and others. John 15:7 “If ye abide in me (Jesus), and my words abide in you, ye shall aiteo/ask (demand, require and expect as due by covenant promise of God) what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” That means Father God delights to answer our right prayers. While many people of all faiths pray, few see the results like Jesus or the early disciples like Peter and Paul produced. Or for that matter John Lake, whose ministry from 1915-25 documented some 200,000 divine healings.
