And Les Misérables has closed at Florida School of the Arts. How - TopicsExpress

And Les Misérables has closed at Florida School of the Arts. How does one summarize their feelings about their first production? It has been nothing but a rollercoaster of water bottles, endless talent, hard work, and Ricola lozenges. Such a wonderful cast was put together for this monster production and I feel so blessed to have been a part of it. I am overwhelmed and I will probably be crying as I type this very long post about my thanks to this show. It is overwhelming to think of just how much Ive enjoyed working on Les Mis with such a fabulous cast and creative team. Never in my wildest of dreams did I see myself working on a show of this caliber. From the first sitzprobe, I knew that I found a profound love for a craft that I once wasnt sure that I was ready for, much less belonged. Stephanie Walter-Masterson, Patricia Crotty, Kandie Kearley Smith - thank you. I cannot being to fathom my gratitude to you three for casting and nurturing me as a Cosette. I would have nothing but joy to revisit the role again someday. I am proud of this show, so very proud, and everything that was successful about it. I am excited to keep working under the three of you. You make a fabulous team. Thank you for your faith. I was once told that if youre going to be a leading lady in this business, you must have the difficult task of keeping leading men that will take as good care of you as you to them. What a joy it was to find not one, but two leading men in this production that fit under the description. Kristem Cuestas, ValJean, you have been such an inspiration to work with and I look up to you immensely. I was intimidated and you made me feel like I belonged. You will go so far, my dear. Thank you. Jordan Leggett, my Marius. What a journey it has been. You have been nothing but wonderful to me and I can say that I would not have been able to do this without you. Your kindness and ease are rarities that I have been blessed to share. Forever will you be the leading man of my heart and I will take every chance I have to sing with you again. I will be losing the both of you when FloArts graduation comes this spring. And I have only touched lightly on what profound love I have for the two of you kind and endlessly talented men. Thank you for everything. And thank you Les Misérables.
