And The Dj Says: We interrupt your regularly scheduled face book surfing of endless pictures shared with you, um... for absolutely nothing important really. How aggravating that must be for the intelligence community to wade through the endless mounds of meaningless comedy photos being shared. Okay yes tons of them are funny as hell...BUT...Ya know...it makes it hard to catch those other notifications. For example, not sure how you surf your facebook. But for me, on a computer, I click notifications and yep get this giant list of notifications that becomes time consuming just sorting through them and looking at each one. OR you click on home which gives you a page layout of everything you have selected get notifications on. Now all fun being and friends we are, GEESH. Some people share every single pic they see on the internet I think. My point being, it depends on what you want from facebook and what you dont huh. Hence, the sometimes when you put a real picture on facebook and nobody likes it. Im saying more often than not, its because people are skimming the posts because the notification level is just too high to have a life and keep up with them. At the same time you want to say, I dont want to not see stuff, but....if for example you come on, often like I do, and have 58 notifications for example and 40 of them are some funny pic with a photo shopped phrase on it. And if you see this person is the type of person that goes on a spree a couple times a day and shares dozens of photos a day, you might turn off get notifications from that person to try to slow up your notifications. The conundrum is you might come off feeling rude to that person. Because you turn that notification off and you dont see anything they do unless you go to their wall. I think sharing non real pics should be turned the same as the gaming platform. Like flagging it as non real life or something. so that some people can screen it out. Additional flip to that conversation: Id love to see a few more buttons created that appear along side the like button.
