And another historic property nearing completion in State Center, Iowa. The old Home Oil complex, three buildings purchased by the City a few years ago, will be the new home of the State Center Police Department. The completely new interior space now includes an interior connection between the cottage building and the 3 bay building to the east. City employees and volunteers will complete the rehabilitation of the 3 bay building in the near future. This property will become a link on the chain of attractions along the old Lincoln Highway/US 30 route through Central Iowa. Two others are the Niland Corner complex in Colo, and the Youngsville Cafe, just south of Vinton.
