If you can help the email is jackieefrati@yahoo Susan, a kind hearted animal lover who has been following Facebook posts of dogs in danger took the plunge and decided she is going to try rescue. She decided to foster a dog from Mercer County (Princeton, WV). Unfortunately, the dog she had her heart set on was not suitable for her family so we were sent a list of 5 additional dogs. She chose Levi, a 40# male, shep mix, about a year old. Four of the other six on list have already been euthanized, including her first choice. Mercer tries very hard…but the reality is even harder. Focusing on the positive, we need to get Levi up here this Saturday. The shelter moved him to a local vet for boarding so there would be one more available cage. I want to show Susan that the rescue railroad works and that fostering is worthwhile and that it’s about happy moments. But I need your help for transport. Levi is a 40 lb - 1 yr old shepherd mix that needs to get to his foster home in Pittsburgh. This boy is neutered, up to date on vaccines, friendly with most other dogs and will be traveling with a health certificate. Please bring a leash for this transport. Each leg has a 15 minute break for transfer. Levi will need to be picked up at the vets office: Princeton WV – (details to be given for first driver).
