So goes the world of juris prudence, it’s nice to know history never repeats itself. Well, “the Toddler” (Obama) has really shown his true colors of inept leadership these past few weeks. Between Ukraine and the Middle East (specifically in Iraq and Israel) we are now known as the country that waits and follows not one that responds and leads. The real issue in Iraq is the lack of reporting on the genocide that is taking place in Mosul. The ISIS terrorist group has now laid down the gauntlet to the city’s diverse religious population. The city which many believe was founded around 6,000BC is home to both Jews, Christians and Muslims. But ISIS only wants their radical brand of Sunni/Shari to be allowed. They now have threaten Christians with immediate conversion, death or expulsion. Over 40,000 Christians are now leaving Mosul heading north to Kurdistan. This is truly genocide even in the United Nation’s definition. So where is our defender of human rights and religious freedom? Last week a State Dept. spokesperson suggested that Israel could do more to protect innocent victims as they attempt to neutralize Hamas, their tunnels and rockets. The spokesperson failed to acknowledge that Hamas has routinely used its indentured citizens as “human shields” for years to draw sympathy to their twisted moral stance as victims of Israel’s destruction of Gaza and the Palestine people. This is false as Israel gave Gaza to the Palestinians years ago. So you have a terrorists group so labeled by every legitimate country in the world whose doctrine includes the destruction and elimination of the Jewish state receiving sympathy from our administration. That makes perfect sense? We might as well give them financial aid…..oh that’s right we already do! There is also the leak of a conversation between Obama and Netanyahua in which our president strong arms the prime minister telling him that Turkey and Qatar are going to be the mediators of this conflict. Netanyahua explains to the president that Turkey and Qatar are supporters of Hamas but Obama discounts the remark. The source of the audio is a well-respected Israeli journalist but both our state dept. and the Israeli government have denied the conversation. You can web search it and make your own conclusion. Regardless it would not be unlike our president to make such statements to our only trusted ally in the Middle East. Remember there is no democratic Muslim country in the world only democratic countries that allow Muslims and Israel is the only one in the Middle East. Turkey is “listed” as a parliamentary democracy but with over 1,700 human rights violations in the last 16 years along with the extreme suppression of the press they are not a true democracy. So what does our $400 million a year do for the Palestinians in Gaza? The State Dept. will tell you that it is for humanitarian relief, food, medical supplies, support of schools and etc. The check is cashed by the Palestinian Heath Ministry which sounds legit. Who runs that organization Hamas! There is substantial evidence that our money was used to buy concrete from Egypt during the Morsi Regime for building….you guessed it Tunnels! Three hundred people shot out of the air by Russian made missile system, no access to the crash site, Putin still lobbing in rockets from Russia into Ukraine and we say “please stop”. I’m reminded of the scenario in Britain where English foot police (Bobbies) do not carry anything but a baton and a whistle. When they catch someone in a criminal act they say” Stop or I will say stop again! As is the norm these days…no leadership. Do we want to send troops to the Ukraine …No, but let’s try some sanctions with teeth like stop all credit transactions as noted by Bill O’Reily. And yes that could make energy in Europe a problem but had Obama been out in front of this and allowed more fracking we could have been ready to sell CNG to Europe within a year. So can be make the Zebra (he is half white, half black) change his stripes? I doubt it, impeachment is political suicide and the Boehner lawsuit though legit which may garner extra votes in November, will not remove Obama from office. As a country we are like a spayed dog, we have no genitals. Remember leadership without significant sacrifice is also incapable of courageous action. No one is free when others are oppressed. We must be a free country not because we claim freedom, we must practice it and defend it in everything we do and not just at home. We just need to find leaders that embody this in their being and soul. So what happened to Nero? Most evidence pointed to him as the” barn burner”, presumably so he could makroom for a new palace that he wanted built. But just as Rome would find out for itself 300 years later leaders and countries without virtue don’t die from the outside they die from within…suicide.
