And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: - TopicsExpress

And at midnight, Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly, there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and everyones bands were loosed.(Acts 16 vs 25,26). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. It is important to note that Paul and Silas were not the only ones in prison. There were other prisoners who listened to Paul and Silas as they prayed and sang. There were other people in chains. There were other people who needed deliverance. There were other people in bondage. Notice carefully, that while Paul and Silas prayed and sang to God, there was an earthquake, and when that earthquake shook the foundation of the prison, everyones chains were broken. So, the prayers of Paul and Silas broke the chains of other prisoners. The praises of Paul and Silas broke other people out of bondage. Friend, in this year, God says, your prayers will break people out of bondage. Your connection to God will attract divine intervention into the lives of others. As you knock on the doors of heaven, the doors will be opened to you and the people connected to you. God has raised you to stand in the gap for others. You have been raised to intercede for your nation. There are people who are depending on your prayers to survive. Remain consistent in your walk with God, and your connection to God will save others from bondage! Prayer: Lord, give me the grace to remain consistent in prayers and in my walk with you in Jesus name. Have a Fabulous Friday!
