The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, Obedience is nothing but surrendering yourself to the mighty power of God. Joseph obeyed God in everything and fulfilled His will. He was very careful in listening to the voice of God and doing everything accordingly. Paul the Apostle says, “Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I am full of joy over you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil” (Romans 16:19). When Paul himself felt so happy over the obedience of the Romans, how much more the Lord will when He knows that you obey His Word. On Easter day, when we were praying as a family, suddenly the Lord began to speak to us through the Holy Spirit. In fact, that night, all of us were very tired and wanted to go to sleep early. But when the Word of God was revealed to us, we received new strength. The Lord clearly assured us, “Since you are obeying me in everything, I will bless you in an abundant measure.” The Lord will do the same in the Jesus Calls ministry also. He will bless all those who are associated with this ministry. Our loving Lord Jesus Christ completely obeyed the Father. The Bible says, “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!” (Philippians 2:8). When you humble yourself before God, obey Him and fulfill His will, He will bless you beyond measure. He will exalt you at the appointed time and bestow honour upon you. Prayer: Loving Lord Jesus, I surrender myself to your mighty power. I choose to listen to your voice and obey You in everything. I yield myself to fulfill your will. Bless me beyond measure.
