And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For a husband is the head of his wife as Christ is the head of the church. He is the Savior of his body, the church. As the church submits to Christ, so you wives should submit to your husbands in everything. For husbands, this means love your wives, just as Christ loved the church. He gave up his life for her to make her holy and clean, washed by the cleansing of God’s word. He did this to present her to himself as a glorious church without a spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. Instead, she will be holy and without fault. In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. ~Ephesians 5:21-28 (NLT)~ ***The married couples & the single individuals somehow seem to forget (or have never known) that the Covenant of Marriage is still Purpose driven by GOD. I have learned & grown so incredibly much since my 1st marriage (many yrs ago. We need to have a true & realist understanding of this divine covenant ordained by GOD. Remember GOD doesnt look at the outer appearances or alot of other foolish definitions that the world defines as marriage. HIS will & purpose negates such. There are no blurred lines! LORD, I thank You for drawing me to You; that I have my own intimate relationship with You which was a prerequisite for Your divine calling for my life. Thank You for molding/shaping me into the Woman of GOD, Mother, Wife (Helpmeet) that You preordained me to be before I was in my moms womb. Nothing in my life has been wasted (the good & the bad). THANK YOU, LORD JESUS!!!
