“And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me”. (Genesis 37 vs 8). That is the Focal Scriptures of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. Our Focal Scripture paints the picture of Joseph’s second dream. Joseph dreamt that the sun, moon and eleven stars came and bowed to him. The sun, moon and eleven stars referred to his father, mother and eleven brothers respectively; so in Joseph’s second dream, his parents and brothers came and bowed to him; thirteen persons came and bowed to him in his second dream. Notice that in his first dream, eleven sheaves representing his eleven brothers came and bowed to him; but in his second dream, the number increased to thirteen. His second dream was an enlargement of his first dream. His second dream scaled up the matter of his greatness in destiny. Friend, is there a vision or dream that God has given you? God says, enlarge your dreams. Enlarge your visions. Enlarge the scope of your expectations. Enlarge your desires. Whatever you have conceived, make it bigger and better. Joseph didn’t change his location before dreaming a bigger dream. God says, right where you are, dream a bigger dream. In that career or business, dream for something bigger and better. Add a fresh touch to your ideas, strategies, concepts, business, career etc. You would notice that in the process of time, Joseph’s bigger dream became a reality not his smaller dream. Don’t allow your dreams and visions in life to remain at the same scope and level. Make your dream bigger and God will help you fulfill it. Pray with me, “Lord, I choose to enlarge my dreams.
