And here I thought today was the day that would have been my cousin Ems birthday. Sure had it on my mind in the last week. I think Ive told the story to at least 4 or 5 people of how Jenny 867-5309 reminds me of her. We were at a summer fair in Juneau, where T&H community building is now, they had rides set up. I had a curfew, which as it drew near, she pleaded with me to stay and go on one more ride, the one with the individual cages for 2. Well, I gave in, knowing Id get into trouble, but the smile that beamed on her face when I agree to stay was worth it. We got in and as they loaded other riders, we rose to the top and sure enough, there went my bus. I gulped and thought, okay Im gonna get it later. Within seconds of that thought, the ride begins to move and shes figured out how to make the sucker spin by rocking it back and forth, next thing you know were upside down, Im screaming and shes laughing this crazy ha ha, got ya laugh and Im trying to hold on but also trying to smack her, lol. Ill never forget it and I miss her smile and contagious laugh so much. By the way, I had such a good time that I dont even remember if I got in trouble or not. :) Em, my dear cousin, I miss you so, so much!
