And like sands through the hourglass, (references anyone?) so ends another circumnavigation of the Sun for me. They sure come around faster than I remember them doing so as a kid, but that is to be expected given percentages and all I guess. :) Ive learned some valuable lessons along the way, perhaps the most important one being to be thankful for all we do have (versus resentful/envious for/of what we dont yet have). And in that spirit, on my exact birthday no less, right at this moment Im most thankful for the Giants for closing out a series against a tough team! Yes, I wish it were a deeper sentiment, but hey, I covered that earlier right? ;) Naturally Ive many more things for which to be thankful, but its late and Ive only 50 odd minutes left of this day so thats all for now. More thanks to be delivered around the end of November...
