FALSE MIRACLE OF SAI - BURINING OF LAMP FROM WATER It happened somewhere in 1880 when for the villagers of Shirdi he was a Mad Beggar.He use to beg daily for food and oil for burning lamps and woods(to ward of cold) at Mosque(Sri Sai SAtcharita Page 22).The oil supply use to be from the city but that day there was no supply and stock was nil with the shopkeepers so they refused the oil to baba.As the night grows baba started feeling uneasy being an expert cook himself he took some water and put it into the vessel in which he use to keep oil.He shake the vessel and kept down for some time as the density of oil is less it and does not mix with water it started floting on the water.He poured the upper layer which is actually oil, into the lamp and burn it, for the simple villagers it was a miracle. This happened in 1880 or before that as after this villagers started propaganda of SAI as great saint as he was big source of earning for the villagers nobody could dare to refuse anything to SAI.During that time only one lamp was burnt at Masjid where he was staying.After 1890 this work was assigned to Abdul Baba,who did this till he lived.The promoters of Sai propagated many lamps were burnt that way, it is not possible as you all are aware that before 1910 Baba did not allow any Hindu activities in Masjid(Devotees Experiences Page No.122) so it is an exaggeration that many lamps were lit.It is not a miracle, if baba was so good at it why he did not directly pour the water in lamp and burned.He could have done this on daily basis basis instead of begging for oil. It is quite surprising that many literate people believes in miracles whatever happens there is some natural law behind it,these natural laws are made by God,and God never breaks his own rules so miracles never happens.If God does not do any miracles than who is Sai to do.
