And now it becomes official... in my reality....how do you say goodbye to a parent? I have been blessed with not just 2 parents, but 4. I have my birth parents and then I like to think I have the parents I helped pick...and that my birth parents picked to help raise me...to be the best person I can be... My parents remarried people who were opposites of their previous marriages. Each one of my parents, have given me different food for thought, have different lessons to teach, and have wonderful traditions to share...and because of all 4 of them, I have been molded into the person I am. Idalia has taught me to be proud of who I am...and where I come from... To be proud of my family and always believe in people. The first summer I met Idalia, she had all these plans...we baked, played mini golf, went to Clearwater Beach, and started our first of many photo shoots... Later, she introduced Styx to me...and let me test drive her car when I turned 15 (BC in Florida you could drive at 15) she planned ice skating, and our annual Disney trip...that eventually became our annual Halloween trip to Busch Gardens...the one year I shared Christmas with her and my Dad, we adopted a family, and she showed me the gift of sharing joy... Idalia and I didnt always see eye to eye, but that doesnt change the fact that I love her dearly and she will be missed... Idalia I hope you are on that fluffy white cloud....happy, and smiling...RIP...❤️
