And now the end is near, and so I face the final curtain ... I want to say a sincere and heartfelt thank you to each and every single individual who helped to get me this far in the Sing it, Bring it competition. I can say with a grateful heart and humble demeanor that all the support has truly been overwhelming, encouraging, and truly a wonderful experience. I am proud of what I was able to showcase on the stage, proud that the talented professionals Ive met have been so encouraging and supportive, and most of all so very happy that I made my family proud by my performances and character on and off stage. I believe I gave some very good performances, one of which was last week to which I received accolades galore and my heart swells when I think of all the kinds words I received from loved ones, friends, even strangers. There may be some questions and even rumors circulating as to what exactly happen. To that I just want to express that what happens behind the scenes SHOULD be a professional matter and should be fair to all parties involved. Unfortunately that was not the case here. I would like to thank my parents and closest friends for supporting me in whatever decisions Ive made to uphold my INTEGRITY, CHARACTER and HONESTY as a person and a FAIR competitor. Anyone who believes that I backed out for personal reasons or whatever the case that was stated (or not) just arent privy to the truth of the matter. I LOVED being on the show, and its truly a pity that I had to make the decision I did under such circumstances. There were so many road blocks I had to overcome to get to this point, of which I am proud to have been able to have done with the help of my supporters and family. I was willing to work my hardest in anything I set forth to do, however anything that comprises my integrity is NOT fair game and NOT up for compromise. Good luck to the remaining contestants, its truly been a pleasure!! I dont ask for anyones pity...this competition was never a validation of my talent, instead it was a great platform for me to show what I have and Im so happy that so many people embraced my efforts with open arms. This little woman with the big voice has truly felt recognized for her talent these past weeks. Thank you oh so very much !
