And now the sad news of another great GAA man and life long friend Brendan Walsh RIP. Brendie as he was known was a Glenflesk man but lived in Killarney, retired principle from Ballycasheen School, actively involved in the GAA all his life. Chairman of the East Kerry board for many years and when we won the Club All Ireland in 1970. His voice was well known in the broadcasting box Fitzgerald Stadium at all the big games, played with Glenflesk great man for Scor and Tops of the Clubs, and also a co board delegate.Like Jerry lived for the GAA . We are losing a rare breed of exemplary men. To his wife and family we extend our deepest sympathy.
