And so, we find once again that 24 hours after, our milk of sympathy (and empathy) has run dry and we are now back to playing divisive politics. Yes, Olisa Metuh opened his wide mouth and crammed his big foot in it, these are politicians, we expect no less from them than crass insensitivity at inopportune moments. The rest of us who are we? What do we say we are? Supporters of GEJ and PDP, some of you have acted admirably well, the rest of you, smh! Please forget this politics of supporting your principal through hail and high water, you are first of all, human beings with blood flowing in your veins. Keep a tight check on your humanity and do not let it escape from you in the wake of this collective assault upon us. Guard your speech. If you have nothing nice to say, then zip it! To the rest of us who have to read your thoughts and then cringe, we get the impression that you are sub human... The rest of us, Sack GEJ right? President must resign shey? Perhps at this point, we need to study the history of terrorism all over the world. I refuse to say more on this beyond asking, like I have asked before, if we remove GEJ and replace with your anointed one and terrorism continues unabated, please ensure you remove your anointed one as quickly and install another person. Or accept that the war on terror has taken a firm foothold all over the world and is not one you play politics with. If GEJ resigns or is sacked like you all propose, and these acts of wanton carnage screech to a grinding halt, then guess what? The President and his henchmen were right all along... Please, let us stop dividing ourselves and playing politics where they are not required. The ones who lost their lives yesterday, for them, it has come to a screeching grinding halt. Putting up pictures saying: This is GEJ looking perplexed, clueless and overwhelmed at the NBTS, to me, is just mere brainlessness...
