Eph 2:20 (NLT) All Scripture is inspired by God...for teaching...showing people what is wrong in their lives...correcting faults, and for teaching how to live right. 2 Tim 3:16 (NCV) The Word of God which...effectively works in you. 1 The 2:13 (NKJV) No...Scripture ever came from the prophets own understanding, or...human initiative...[They] were moved by the Holy Spirit, and...spoke from God. 2 Peter 1:20-21 (NLT) Jesus is referred to as the chief cornerstone for the purpose of recognizing His solid foundation as a being rock steady in our lives. That is one reason for His Word to be able to work effectively in our lives. It reveals what is wrong with our way of living compared to the way Jesus lived. It helps us to see the sin in our lives, and teaches us how to live the right way. The Scriptures were given by inspiration to the prophets for the sole purpose of helping us avoid the wrong lifestyle. His Word is perfect for aiding us in getting acquainted with the revelation of His Word, and allowing it to illuminate His Word as it inspires us to live it rightly in our lives. We can stand on His solid truth to be trustworthy to change the way we live, so we may take it and live in the same manner as our Lord and Savior Jesus did. The decision to take God at His Word is now on you. Do with it what you will. Stand on the solid rock of God, and stand through the tests of life or fall by your own way. For me I chose to plant my feet firmly on the Word of God, and to let Him be the cornerstone of my life. I pray you will, too.
