And the most awaited bollywood movie of 2014 finally released today and the mystery of Pk is also revealed! PK is the story of an astronaut (Aamir Khan), who happens to come from some other planet. As soon as he arrives on Earth, his locket, which was the only source of contacting his spaceship, gets stolen. In the quest of finding his stolen locket, PK discovers a variety of new things on earth which seem quite mysterious to him. He constantly asks questions about god, religion and caste challenging the norms and beliefs of the society. During this PK meets, Jaggu (Anushka Sharma), a news reporter, who promises to get back his locket. PK happens to be a satire on the hoax beliefs about God and their Godmen, much like Oh My God (2012). If I had not seen Oh My God then PK would be a pleasant surprise for me. But, PK tries its best to entertain the audiences. Aamir’s childlike curiosity and his Bhojpuri accent are sure to leave you spell bound. The scenes are well crafted and beautifully executed. You’re sure to have a good laugh at some of them. Aamir Khan, yet again, shows his versatility as an actor. You can say he is the number one contender for ‘BEST ACTOR’ this year. Anushka Sharma is good enough to support Aamir, she does not disappoint either. Sushant Singh Rajput, in an extended cameo, is impressive. Saurabh Shukla is excellent. Though I was disappointed to not see Boman Irani in a major role, now that’s a total waste of talent. And Its an delight to watch Sanjay Dutt & Aamir Khan together! It is a typical Raju Hirani film with a social message. Go watch it with your family, have a good laugh and come back. And for all you ladies out there, PK has a special surprise for you in the end.
